Terms of Service

App Store Terms

Cozy Pets may be downloaded through Apple, Google, or other app stores. Your download, app license, payment processing, subscription management, cancellations, and refunds may be governed by the store terms that apply to your device and account. For Apple App Store downloads, Apple's standard licensed application end user license agreement applies unless Apple or App Onboard, Inc. provides different terms through the store.

These Terms apply to the Cozy Pets service, game rules, accounts, virtual items, AI features, websites, and support interactions. If these Terms conflict with mandatory app store terms, the mandatory store terms control for the store-managed issue.

Eligibility

Cozy Pets is intended for a general audience age 13 and older. It is not directed to children under 13. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use Cozy Pets only with permission from a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms.

You may use Cozy Pets only if you can form a binding agreement with App Onboard, Inc. and are not barred from using the service under applicable law.

Accounts

Some Cozy Pets features require an account or device-linked profile. You are responsible for the activity on your account, for keeping your sign-in credentials and device secure, and for making sure the information you provide is accurate.

You may not share, sell, transfer, or let another person use your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us at support@apponboard.com.

Limited Right to Use Cozy Pets

Subject to these Terms, App Onboard, Inc. gives you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use Cozy Pets for your own entertainment. You do not receive any ownership interest in Cozy Pets, our software, game systems, virtual items, generated pet content, characters, artwork, text, videos, models, prompts, features, names, branding, or other content we provide.

You may not copy, sell, rent, transfer, sublicense, reverse engineer, scrape, interfere with, or misuse Cozy Pets except as allowed by these Terms or applicable law.

Purchases and Subscriptions

Cozy Pets may offer subscriptions, consumable items, non-consumable items, ad-supported rewards, and other paid or rewarded features. Prices, product descriptions, renewal terms, and purchase conditions are shown in the app or applicable store before purchase.

Purchases made through Apple, Google, or another app store are processed by that store. The store controls billing, payment methods, taxes, cancellation tools, renewal notices, and refund decisions unless applicable law requires otherwise. We do not receive your full payment card number from Apple or Google.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled through the applicable store or platform before renewal. If you delete Cozy Pets or stop using your account, that action may not cancel an active subscription. You must use the applicable store subscription controls to cancel.

Virtual Items and Randomized Rewards

Cozy Pets may include virtual currency, consumables, cosmetics, pet items, randomized rewards, gacha-style mechanics, unlocks, boosts, memories, messages, generated pet content, and other virtual items. Virtual items are licensed for use inside Cozy Pets only. They have no real-world cash value, cannot be redeemed for money, cannot be sold or transferred, and do not create any property interest.

Randomized reward odds, purchase terms, and related disclosures will be presented in the app where required. Receiving a specific virtual item is not guaranteed unless the app clearly says otherwise. We may change, rebalance, suspend, or remove virtual items and randomized rewards as Cozy Pets evolves, subject to applicable law and store requirements.

Ads and Third-Party Services

Cozy Pets may show ads, rewarded ads, offer placements, and measurement technology. We use AdMob and AppLovin for ad serving, ad measurement, fraud prevention, and consent handling. Their services and partners may be subject to separate terms and privacy practices.

Cozy Pets also uses Firebase and other Google services, Apple services, OpenAI, fal.ai, and other providers that help us operate authentication, cloud storage, analytics, messaging, app integrity, purchases, AI generation, moderation, safety, and support. Your use of platform features may also be subject to Apple, Google, or other third-party terms.

AI Features

Cozy Pets includes generative AI and large language model features that may create pet messages, images, videos, text, and other game content. AI features may process prompts, selected gameplay context, pet state, uploaded or selected media, generated outputs, output URLs, and technical metadata through OpenAI, fal.ai, and other AI service providers.

AI providers and models may change as the product evolves. We update public or in-app disclosures when legally required or when store policies require disclosure or consent before a new provider receives personal information or user content.

AI outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, unexpected, repetitive, offensive, or unsuitable for your situation. Do not rely on Cozy Pets or AI outputs for legal, medical, financial, safety, or other professional advice. Do not submit sensitive personal information, confidential information, or content you do not have the right to provide.

We may use automated and human review, moderation tools, safety filters, reporting, rate limits, and enforcement measures to operate AI features and reduce abuse.

Content Ownership and License

As between you and App Onboard, Inc., App Onboard, Inc. owns and controls Cozy Pets, including generated pet images, generated videos, generated text, virtual items, game assets, game content, characters, names, artwork, animations, code, interfaces, designs, and other materials we provide or generate through the service.

You retain any rights you already have in prompts, photos, media, feedback, or other materials you submit to Cozy Pets. By submitting content, you give App Onboard, Inc. a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, copy, store, process, modify, display, create derivative works from, moderate, transmit, and otherwise use that content to operate, improve, secure, and support Cozy Pets and related services.

You represent that you have the rights needed to submit your content and grant this license. You are responsible for your prompts, uploads, and other submissions.

User Conduct

You agree not to use Cozy Pets to:

• Violate any law, regulation, third-party right, app store rule, or these Terms.
• Submit unlawful, abusive, hateful, harassing, sexual, exploitative, violent, or infringing content.
• Impersonate another person, misrepresent your identity, or interfere with another user's experience.
• Cheat, exploit bugs, manipulate rewards, automate gameplay, bypass payment systems, or commit fraud.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, scrape, crawl, overload, disrupt, or probe Cozy Pets or our systems.
• Upload malware, attempt unauthorized access, or interfere with security, moderation, analytics, or ads.
• Use Cozy Pets or generated content to train competing AI models or build a competing service.

Enforcement and Service Changes

We may investigate suspected violations and may remove content, limit features, suspend accounts, terminate accounts, revoke virtual items, withhold rewards, block purchases, or take other action when we believe it is appropriate to protect Cozy Pets, users, service providers, store partners, or the public.

Cozy Pets is a live service. We may add, change, rebalance, suspend, or discontinue features, AI providers, models, ads, rewards, purchases, subscriptions, virtual items, content, and availability. We will provide notice when required by applicable law or store policy.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and delete information when you use Cozy Pets. Please review it carefully, especially the sections covering Firebase, analytics, ads, purchases, subscriptions, AI providers, generated content, retention, and deletion.

Feedback

If you send ideas, suggestions, bug reports, or other feedback, you give App Onboard, Inc. permission to use that feedback without restriction or compensation. We are not required to treat feedback as confidential.

Disclaimers

Cozy Pets is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, App Onboard, Inc. disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, quiet enjoyment, and non-infringement.

We do not guarantee that Cozy Pets will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, available in every location, or free from data loss. We do not guarantee that AI outputs, ads, rewards, messages, generated content, purchase flows, or store services will meet your expectations.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, App Onboard, Inc. and its officers, directors, employees, agents, partners, licensors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, loss of goodwill, loss of virtual items, loss of generated content, service interruption, device issues, or unauthorized access.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the total liability of App Onboard, Inc. for any claim related to Cozy Pets will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid to App Onboard, Inc. for Cozy Pets during the six months before the event giving rise to the claim or 100 U.S. dollars.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers or liability limits. In those places, the limits above apply only to the extent permitted by law.

Indemnity

To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless App Onboard, Inc. and its officers, directors, employees, agents, partners, licensors, and service providers from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from your content, your use of Cozy Pets, your violation of these Terms, your violation of law, or your violation of another person's rights.

Governing Law and Courts

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. To the maximum extent permitted by law, disputes related to these Terms or Cozy Pets will be brought in the state or federal courts located in California, and you consent to the jurisdiction and venue of those courts.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights you may have under mandatory consumer protection laws in your country, state, or province.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as Cozy Pets changes. When we make changes, we will update the date above. If a change is material, we may provide additional notice through the app, website, store listing, or another reasonable method. Your continued use of Cozy Pets after the updated Terms become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
